The concept
The First International Swiss Studies Congress is a direct implementation of the third mission of the University of Warsaw.
It is also the first such large-scale initiative to develop a cooperation platform for Polish-Swiss academic and scientific circles and the socioeconomic environment in both countries.
The purpose
The First International Swiss Studies Congress serves to the following purposes
Programme
The theme of the congress is “Economy” which links to “Education”, “Politics” and “Cul-ture”. The programme highlights the points of contact between these areas and facilitates the exchange of knowledge and experience between them.
The congress will be a place for debates, panel discussions, lectures, case studies and networking sessions.

The invited guests and speakers are representatives of primary research institutions from Poland and Switzerland. Key members of Polish and Swiss politics, culture and business will participate as well.
Participation and access
All events of the congress (debates, lectures and panel discussions) will be available offline and online. Moreover, recordings of all speeches and all materials and presentations from our partners will be available to all on its platform after completion of the congress.

The Centre for Swiss Studies of the University of Warsaw is a university-wide unit, a Polish-Swiss hub for commercialisation and internationalisation of research with the purpose of exchanging knowledge, solutions and experience among Polish and Swiss research institutions and the private sector in such areas as education, research and innovation.
